Background and Visual Development Artist

Hi! I'm Justyne! To say a little about me, I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, riding horses and alpine skiing. I'm currently in Los Angeles and I graduated from the Academy of Art University with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Development in 2023. I live with my cats, Sullivan and Violet, who are more like kids than pets to me. In my free time I enjoy playing video games, teaching myself choreography, and hanging out with my cats.

I have professional experience working as a visual development and background artist on multiple projects, including Spindlehorse Toon's Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. I've freelanced for the studio, doing background layout and painting since 2020, and worked full-time doing background design and visual development since 2024. I've also worked with Zamination, Kittensneeze Productions, Goblin Go Boom, and Apeship Studios.
