Background and Visual Development Artist

Hi! I'm Justyne! To say a little about me, I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, riding horses and apline skiing. I'm currently in San Francisco and I recently graduated from the Academy of Art University with my bachelors of fine arts in visual development. I live with my cat, Sullivan, who's more like a son than a pet to me. In my free time I enjoy playing video games, exploring the city, and hanging out with Sullivan.

I have professional experience working as a visual development and background artist on multiple projects including Spindlehorse Toon's Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. I've freelanced for them doing background layout and painting since 2020. I've also worked with Apeship Studios, a 2D indie animation studio based in San Fransisco to create the backgrounds for a short children’s music video on YouTube and Studio X, a studio from the Academy of Art as an art director on a stop-motion animated music video.
